Maybe Apple should learn sign language?

So, I wanted to see some more clips on some of the new Apple stuff including some video of Steve Jobs presenting the new MacBook Air as was posted here: http://www.apple.com/macbookair/guidedtour/

I clicked in the "large" version and see a great hi resolution video and realize there is no audio. Hmmm... I click on "medium". Lots of motion, but still no audio. WTF?!? Finally, I click "small" and, hello, we have audio! I even tried to download the large version and still, no audio.

Hey, Apple, dumbasses, when you're done with your happy dance today could you come back down to earth and restore the audio to one of the most critical pieces of marketing in support of your new products?

Brilliant.

EDIT (next morning): Guess they figured out the error of their ways. All versions working now.

Frankly...
Hehe, it was just a reference to a phone conversation that snowboardjoe and I had earlier in the evening. It went something like this:

snowboardjoe: Quicktime video...no audio...
davegrrr: But, wha...
snowboardjoe:
davegrrr: *sigh*
snowboardjoe: Okay, I'm done now.
davegrrr: Good, but frankly I don't give a damn. *grin*
snowboardjoe: Grrrrr
davegrrr: :-D
snowboardjoe: :-) (presummed by davegrrr anyway)

*Sigh* Everyone should love their Mac or covet thy neighbor's.

Well, it worked for me. Maybe you need to add some Hz to your 'chine.

Okay, it is a bit low-powered for me. But a solid state drive? And the cool track pad moves (that will hopefully be available with a patch for my MBP)? AND YOU CAN PRACTICALLY ROLL THE FREAKIN' THING UP AND STICK IT IN YOUR POCKET!?

G-d, I love Apple. These people are so far ahead of the curve... well, it's THEIR curve.

Sweet.

Oh, the video is working now here at work this morning. Guess they realized their screw up and got it going again overnight. My workstation at home has plenty of "Hz", buster! It's a brand new iMac! Thankyouverymuch.

Just watched the video--so slick. Glad to see the options there on how to deal with no DVD/CD drive. It's a bit odd to not have firewire, but it was not meant to hook up to any mass storage devices. Incredibly portable. Backlit keyboard too!

As for the solid state drive, I think that's a more of a trend to come although it's pricey (I think the cost was an additional $1000).

OMG! I did the exact same thing. Sadly, I blame this new and horrible generation of kids. They all suck, they have such an entitlement complex that you can't even get close to them and they don't work very hard.

That is all.

If things are pretty enough, they don't need to talk...I mean, have a sound track :-)
