Hooked on Big Brother

Does that make me a bad person? I could not help it. I was browsing through some channels and came across Big Brother (just started a new season using couples instead of individuals) and there is some nice eye candy this season. So, yeah, I'm hooked now and trying to figure people out.

I'm not sure how long it will last though. Ryan is definitely the sexiest man on there (if only he were gay). :( It's amusing to see how they chose people for the show. The dumb one picked this season is clearly Amanda. She reminds me of Bush. No one needs to make fun of her. She does it all to herself whenever she opens her mouth.

I think I'll stick with the program with the ever shirtless males on there for now. Anyone else?

Not me, because I am not a TV person at all. If I leave out all the news and broadcast which is a work related thingie, I probably watch some 60 minutes of other TV stuff - per month. :)

Unfortunately, it's hard to pull myself away from the TV. Is your habit a part of your culture over there, or just a personal thing for you?
Feb. 25th, 2008 09:33 pm (UTC)
no, it's a personal thing for me. even as I child I ignored TV at large. I prefered books and drawing. :)

I wont sugarcoat it for you. Yes it makes you a bad person....a very bad, bad person. However, you're hawt so that transmutes the badness into something more socially acceptable. :-)

Bad me. I'm so bad. Socially and acceptably bad. Is that what you're trying to tell me?

I must live vicariously through appreciators of this sort of entertainment. I've never seen the show.

Actually, I never watch television. I do catch up on Lost from iTunes. In our house, I've unconsciously put as much difference between my space (my office) and the television as I can, without putting either the television or myself outside.

Enjoy the nipplage!

Yep, I know, TV is not your thing and I certainly respect that. It is cool you have things like iTunes to grab just what you want.

I think we need to see more pictures of shirtless males to evaluate your badness.

Love the tats!

There are lots of tats on these people. The photos there don't show them that much.

Yeah its odd how I was flipping between the Oscars and Big Brother...it should have been an easy choice but it was not...I need help..LOL.
Feb. 25th, 2008 05:19 pm (UTC)
Hehe, which one did you watch more? I did not even watch the Oscars last night. I was up doing work and only recorded Big Brother.
Feb. 25th, 2008 02:52 pm (UTC)
I think you're not the first person to watch a show for the eye candy. ;-) And I really love "The Amazing Race" and "Project Runway," so again, you're not unique.
Feb. 25th, 2008 05:20 pm (UTC)
I got tired of Amazing Race. I really did like it, but it got bored after so many seasons. Do you still watch it? Never have seen Project Runway yet.
Feb. 25th, 2008 05:21 pm (UTC)
I admit that I only watched it one year. I do really love PR though. I highly recommend it!

I'll second the PR nod. Saw season 1's first ep, thought "This is dumb," and ignored it. Then was bored over Thanksgiving weekend and caught up on all 3.3 seasons. Now, I watch what happens.

OK, ok, I just added it to my queue. Looks like several are running in a row this evening.

I do like this spiffy web interface from DirecTV that allows me to schedule stuff via the web which tells my DVR what to do. :)

Yeah, the last four aired episodes of Season 4 (three challenges — denim, wrestling, and art — and the reunion episode from last week). This Wednesday (Feb 27) is part 1 of the season finale; next Wednesday (Mar 05) is part 2.

That's generally how I feel about TAR. It's a good show, but without the crazy-person drama that other reality shows have, it gets a bit formulaic and dull. I find that taking a season or two off (or only sporadically watching) can make TAR fun again.

Yes, yes it does make you a bad person. But then, I'm bad in the same way.

I would love to have Ryan alone, naked, and gay. ;) Gay Joshuha is kinda cute too, though a bit flamy.
Feb. 25th, 2008 05:23 pm (UTC)
Ahh, so I'm not the only bad one. Excellent!

Oh, my, Ryan. Dreamy. Did you notice he had that pillow over his crotch when he was getting all hot and heavy with Jen? ;)

Joshua is nice too and it's been hilarious seeing him act like a little girl with that lesbian scandal. He's going to be pissed when he finds out it was all made up. :D Of course, that thing with Amanda he really lost it--heat of the moment.
Feb. 26th, 2008 03:22 am (UTC)
Didn't you want to be that pillow? ;)

Well, last episode I saw, Joshuha did find out about the lesbian thing.... And you know, I missed what he got so pissed off about with Amanda too...just saw him screaming.

Is it just me, or does Sharon look a LOT like that crazy bitch Allison who was on a few seasons ago (and on The Amazing Race (for one ep) and I think All Stars) ?

You're bad. You're bad. You know it.
(Really, really bad.)

"The dumb one picked this season is clearly Amanda. She reminds me of Bush."

This quote made for a good laugh this evening . . . thanks!

Trust me. In five minutes, you'll know why. Rocks are smarter than her. Add to that a whiny voice.
