Kitchen update, more plumbing

Just got the call from Lowe's who informed me the work on the drain system is entirely my responsibility. While I thought it was covered, it was not. It's not mentioned in the contract or any service that I paid for. The removal of the old drain system was unexpected by all parties and it had to be done to install the new countertops and new sink which is much deeper.

So, I need to reassess the situation and decide on whether this is something I can do, or hire someone else to do it (likely in a fraction of the time). Guess I'll go home for an early lunch and sort this out as I really need to get this working again.

From the pics, it looks like you should be able to install it yourself and shouldn't be more than a 2 hour job. It all looks like PVC. If you have the old system, you should be able to use that as a reference for getting supplies. Makes it simpler if you have a one hole sink. :)
