Jackson Hole Monday report

It was an excellent day yesterday. We started off at 10°F (-12°C) with snow still falling. I think we had about 2-3" the night before. It was definitely a very dry and powdery snow. While cold outside, the slopes were pretty nice. I definitely found some powder here and there, but I also forgot how steep the terrain can be. Even took the tram up to the top (10,450') with Eric and had a pretty good long run down for a few more runs before the end of the day.

The new snowboard is working out great. Carving turns is easier with this longer board and hardly any adjustment was needed. I snapped a few pictures (have not uploaded them yet) yesterday, but the weather was quite obscured with the light sow so visibility was less than a mile. If I make it out this afternoon will definitely take some as the views are breath taking.

This morning it's -14°F (-25°C) and I think I'm going to wait awhile before hitting the slopes. Crystal clear skies right now with ice fog in the bottom of the valley. We're expecting 8-14" of snow by tomorrow afternoon, but not sure when it will start.

Wait... I was supposed to be there!

But I'm here at work....and not having fun.

I'm sure there's been some sort of mistake.
