Tuesday morning the stitches came OUT! I'm so glad to have those gone. They were getting itchy, they were lumpy, they got irritated with my shirts..., I was do done with them. There's tape there now because Dr. Stanley is a tad paranoid, but at least the itching is gone and no more irritation.

Oh, and he showed me color prints taken during the surgery which was pretty cool. It's probably not for the squeamish, so I'll leave it up to you to clicky on the link. I think I got most of the descriptions right. Still looking at another 4-6 weeks of recovery, but could do simple (flat) bike rides in a week or two.

In other news, I finally got my gaming area setup again. The speakers that someone else gave me died, so I was left with nothing. I upgraded my surround speakers downstairs many months ago and did get around until now to get the old ones upstairs and installed. Definitely a major improvement and I do want to get some video game time in with GT5 Prologue and Assassin's Creed.

I was curious and wanted to check out the status of the full GT5 version to be released at the end of March this year (pre-ordered from Amazon). This game is looking incredible awesome. I found Gran Turismo 5 Teaser Trailer that gives you a good idea what the game will be like. I can't wait for that to come out!

Went to Imax theater last night with J and Barry to watch Avatar. Was a bit concerned since I got there late, but we still got excellent seats near the center of the theater. I had decent 3D glasses that fit over my prescription glasses too. It's been forever since I've been to Imax and even longer for a 3D film. I was totally blown away by the movie, speechless. The graphics are just incredible (beautiful and rich scenes). I understand how some were disappointed with the lack of a deep plot, but it was still well worth the money. Three hours is a about right too--not too long, not too short. If you have not seen it yet, SEE IT NOW! If you can do Imax, even better.

Ok, off to bed with me. I have PT in the morning and a long list of work stuff to attend to.

I won't be clicking on the link to the pics... :-)

Best of luck for a speedy recovery!
