I'm behind on posting again, new strategy

I'm finding myself getting further and further behind on posting on LJ. It's not that it's a burden, but I think I keep queueing up thoughts for posting, that list gets large, and then I dread having to recall from memory only to find out I've forgotten about 50% of what I was going to say.

So, I think shorter more frequent posts will be better for me to keep up with. Now that I have fabulous phone (BlackBerry Storm 2) that I'm getting more accustomed to, I should use that more as well. There are too many things I want to mention, but a bit too sensitive to post on FaceBook.

Will see if this works or not. I'm just getting to lazy and I do want to get more stuff down in LJ as well as keeping up with everyone else.

PS thanks for the bodymedia.com endorsement. I'm just getting started with it. I think I might switch from weight loss mode to activity mode. I don't really want to do calorie counting unless I absolutely need it.

No problem. I understand the calorie counting. I have to keep up with it or I get really frustrated with myself. I still do it because I keep learning of things that I'm eating that I have no business eating. I'm still discovering how bad some of the foods I've been eating and learning to eat the right things. That's just one aspect of the calorie counting. Knowing what you are burning (and not guessing at it) is a big advantage as well.

Yep, eating out is a downfall for me. My strategy there involves just halving up everything on the entree plate right off the bat. That's tomorrow's lunch for the to-go container. It's eccentric, but at my current weight, no one's really going to argue against me eating less.

Also, I can suggest the ZipLoc Steamer bags combined with the Costco Normandy Mix vegatables. It's nothing to throw the vegatables into the bag then microwave for 3-6 minutes to prep a side.

Yeah, portions. That's been a huge change for me. I think that was one of the major contributing factors regarding my IBS. My digestive system is MUCH better. I was just eating too much food--period.
