Bathroom upgrades

The first big step in getting the bathrooms upgraded is complete. I'm really happy with the results. I was able to get the same countertops (quartz) as the kitchen a year ago. They have a minimum order, but they were able to fulfill my order based on scraps they still had--win, win.

So, I started with this...

This is after I removed the countertops and one did not go so well...

I put my drywall repair skills to the test again...

Then the final look with new faucets installed too...

I'm very happy with the upgrades here and it just flows having the cabinets (original) and countertops match throughout the house. Next? Tile floors, paint, new lights and still pondering whether or not to replace the wall mirrors with some medicine cabinets for more storage.

The new cabinent looks wonderful, but I don't know that I could downsize to something without drawers!

No change in cabinets--those are the existing ones. I'm not upgrading or downgrading them as that's a lot more money. It's just the countertops I upgraded here.

I definitely need to add some storage to the upstairs bathroom (the one with the vanity without drawers).
